I feel the lost should attribute more to William's school boy error rather than fabinho. He was conned and the foul was soft.

Williams is very young and this is part of learning curve. VVD will come back but he is unlikely to be the same (I.e. won't be playing every league game for 2 consecutive seasons). It's good for Williams to gain experience and step up in the next 2 to 3 seasons. CBs are very expensive these days.

City leads the table with a 7 pt gap to Pool. Same number of games played. Pool dropped to 5th place. 

it is looking like a long way to recover from here...  top 4 looks like a more realistic target for this season. Can't see us winning the UCL either.   There may be plenty of discourse amongst the star players becoming restless in the summer. No chance of retaining Gini either in this state.

CBs CBs they need CBs not 1 but 2... the goal drought might be temporary but the defence cant depends on the 2 sick chickens and for VVD to come back, if still want to play high line. The dip in form i feel started end of last season even with both 1st choice CBs playing.

IMO We need to replace both VVD and Gomez.. we shldnt rush to bring in CBs

What if the CBs took a few months to blend into our play? I know CBs usually do not need much time to get used to the team but you never know

My only concern is VVD injury. Will he remain the same player or not. Cause he not young anymore.
