If Ronald Koeman is appointed as Barcelona boss he will keep Coutinho.

Coutinho has played 74 games and if he plays 100 games Barca has to pay us

an additional 17.5 million pounds.

And if Bayern wins the CL we will get another 5 million.

When Edwards write in the contract Coutinho winning the CL

Barca assume he will win it playing with them!

Barcelona also willing to sell Luis Suarez.

If we sell Origi for 25 million I wonder if Barca will accept 25 or maybe 30 million for him to be our back up striker.

If we sign Suarez again, maybe he can bring out the best in Brewster and form a 3 man attack with Shaqiri. We can rotate the two sets of Forward LOL

then maybe tell them keep the money

and send us Suarez.

Ronald Koeman to Barcelona is bad news for Liverpool.

Koeman is Holland manager and he will sign Gini for Barca and in 2 years time he will sign VVD for Barca.

Koeman signed VVD for Southampton and brought him to the PL and made VVD the Holland captain.

Ask Koeman if he wants Gini... do a trade for Suarez... take the Coutinho money and buy Thiago or a younger midfielder who can play the no 6 role. Fabinho can cover CB role if required.

YNWA!

This year, I hear a lot of YNWA not from Pool fans but from Ministers and politicians around the world telling people they are not fighting the pandemic and recession alone.

I think it is not a coincidence that Covid and Pool winning the title has to happen in the same year.

this transfer market is going to be very muted given the uncertain times of the economy and ticket sales in the coming season.

there won't be many brave clubs out there going for the flashy buys and making gambles with transfers.  i can't see big names moving for huge prices unless they are of the absolute necessity.  The likes of City has gone pragmatic too with the purchase of Ake instead of a blockbuster CB.

feel that Pool will likely hold tight and unless a bargain comes along, they might take a sniff.   They are still a CB short but I think Klopp may gamble on this one (i.e. not replace) which I think would be highly risky.  Gini may not be sold despite having 1 year remaining mainly cos not many clubs will shelve out 40-50m for his talent.

Thiago is an obviously good to have so I dun think it is very high on the agenda. But if somehow Bayern decides to cut loss and let him go very cheaply (i mean real cheap), then Pool may take him on.  In all likelihood, the use of Thiago in the squad is only for the purpose of playing against park bus teams... for the big head to head games, it will be same old trusted midfield generals  who will likely start.
