Engine Oil Turn Colour After using Xpower

Recommended Posts

Clutched

Hi,

Anybody using Sinopec xpower? I tried last week and after travelling 400km on my 12years old honda, I encountered my engine oil turning green.

My friend who drive a new Toyota also has the same issue.

Anybody face the same problem?

by right propellant and lubricant do not mix, so should not be petrol related issue.

Is not like milky, still engine oil but with fuel smell. Those who pump Sinopec xpower, maybe u can clean the dip stick to see the oil colour.

Technically fuel and engine oil do not mix so, regardless which brand of fuel used, should not really affect the engine oil colour.

If this happened most likely the piston rings might be going soon.

However if you are driving the new Honda 1.5T engine then that is another issue.

I think X-Power is the same as Shell V-Power....so V-Power usage Owners can help too.

Instead of asking in forums, you should go to your mechanic/workshop...

Greed colored Engine Oil, I known was from Bell-Ray (Racing Oil) for Bikes. I used on my Bikes years ago, high rev. NP 1.

So was the Engine Oil previous owner filled . Or you purchased the Bell-Ray.
