A jury acquitted teenager Kyle Rittenhouse on Friday (Nov 19) of murder in the fatal shooting of two men in a trial that highlighted divisions over gun rights and stirred fierce debate about the boundaries of self defence in the United States.

The jury found Rittenhouse, 18, not guilty on all charges: two counts of homicide, one count of attempted homicide for wounding a third man, and two counts of recklessly endangering safety during racial justice protests marred by arson, rioting and looting on Aug 25, 2020 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

 

It was the right decision. The rioters were no angels, certainly not heroes dying for a cause. They were whites just taking advantage of blacks lives matter protest to create anarchy and property damage.

That's how it is in the USA. Imagine if people like Kyle were not armed (the gun was legal btw), he would have been beaten to coma or death by those anarchists.

Apparently in today's politically correct environment, the police hesitate to take harsh action on the riot because of the black lives matter theme. Leading to lawful people having to defend themselves.

Same happened in the LA race riots of '92. Blacks rioted and as usual looters took advantage of the situation especially targeting asian shops. Police ineffective. The asians, koreans, armed and defended their properties.

frankly speaking,  i cannot judge right or wrong. i can laugh at it amuse at it .share it. but its way out for me to put any judgement on it.

it is what it is over there. 

but the last thing for me to expect is any leader to make any judgement on such stuff.  for example we are not going to see our leader demand justice for those kill by this guy  bababa , if u get what i mean. 

relationship between countries is mutual respect. thats why when their leaders poke their nose into our affairs, i read the news very buay song, they dun respect sg at all

Yes anyhow also can link back. Blame white masters have always got black men to do the dirty work. Problem will only stop if they do some serious self reflection.
