VB... blunder after blunder.

Gotta be outcast in the party already. Likely to be heading some unimportant ministry in time to come.

This is a common problem when we WFH and do zoom or teams.

Always check who is still on the channel when meeting has ended or before it began.

Always check that the recording has ended [laugh]

Otherwise, just treat WFH online meeting as a face-to-face meeting, do not say what you normally wouldn't say in a face-to-face setting. Golden rule of posting on social media too.

Simple basic rules that we learned very quickly early on. RI alumni should have learnt even quicker [laugh]

Actually so far this is the only 'debate' in parliament. The rest wayang before endorsement. Still verdict decided before it starts. Even Speaker is on 1 side so how to debate?

I don't see any debate in our parliament. It is a reading exercise.

Every motion raised by opposition get rejected. Every motion raised by PAP get passed.

What a parliament. 😴

SINGAPORE: Parliament on Wednesday (Sep 15) passed a motion by Finance Minister Lawrence Wong on securing Singaporeans’ jobs and livelihoods, and rejected a competing motion by Progress Singapore Party (PSP) member Leong Mun Wai, after a marathon debate that started on Tuesday afternoon and carried on past midnight.

Non-Constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) Mr Leong had filed a motion calling upon the Government to “take urgent and concrete action to address the widespread anxiety among Singaporeans on jobs and livelihoods caused by the foreign talent policy and the provisions on Movement of Natural Persons in some free trade agreements (FTA) like the India-Singapore Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA)”.

I go pass motion better…knn.
