Ah Heng ah Heng .. now Sgp in dire straits..still got time to worry and fret abt FTs meh???

As of now , sinkies are retrenched every minute and we need to think fast on how to create replacement jobs for our fallen Singaporeans..

Ask those FTs to fend for themselves at the moment..

When times are better , they can come back anytime..

MOM is currently cracking their numb brains n let’s hope for the BEST..

PM Lee did said that even as this pandamic, there are businesses that are deciding and or ongoing discussions to want to set up businesses here in Singapore. This cannot be done if not because of our openness to welcoming them and of coz our political stability. So yeah there really need to be a balance. Coz without them coming in, means lesser jobs would be created to Singaporeans.

Pritam Singh exchange with Lhl shows how much conviction he has.. It is a good sign as this show how much he care for singapore. Both Lhl and pritam Singh care for singapore but both have slightly different mindset of how to move forward.

PM Lee also touched on civil service being able to run auto pilot for awhile but ultimately it is the leadership that charge to movement. Then he also talked about ministers must know in and out of the policy, when he comes here and answer parliamentary of supplies and or parliamentary of questions, he does not refer to his administrative of vice ministers or in our equivalent would be perm sec, he must master and explain it.. Blah blah blah.. This one as we look at how JT reply with jamus lim question yesterday.. She failed in that sense.

I think if she continues to perform subpar.. She might get replaced eventually.

The Government will always be on the side of Singaporeans, says PM Lee amid job concerns

Quote

SINGAPORE: The Government will “always be on the side of Singaporeans”, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Wednesday (Sep 2), as he addressed concerns about job security in an economy battered by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking on the third day of the debate on the President's Address in Parliament, Mr Lee acknowledged the anxiety that Singaporeans are feeling about their jobs and the “palpable” sense of competition with foreigners.

These feelings are “completely understandable” given the economic downturn, he said, noting that anti-foreigner sentiment is on the rise around the world as people worry about their futures.

However, he also emphasised that ultimately, the Government is on the side of Singaporeans and wants to create good jobs for them.

not I say one, LHL say one.

btw, my definition of Singaporean is born here and serve NS one hor, not those jump over as PR then get citizenship.

Now we have 3 side of a coin.

PM Lee refer wp mp using free riders tactic to win vote.

Wp mp refer pm Lee free rider as telling voters that they are free riders, which certainly they are not.

Then there are many others who vote not because of free riders but on candidates.

Darn it.. This free riders thing now become so complicated.. Haha..

Very difficult since Singapore is a backward country.

India has moved towards Aadhaar (digital ID).

No need to step into bank to set up account.

Singapore still stuck in physical IC.
