If so.. we must not forget this great nation..

China’s Arms Industry Giants https://chinapower.csis.org/arms-companies/ Possessing a highly developed defense industrial base is a prerequisite to becoming a leading military power. While China is already the world’s second largest arms producer, the ability of its arms industry to domestically develop certain advanced weapon systems is still growing.

From 2010 to 2020, China exported nearly 16.6 billion TIV worth of conventional weapons across the globe. The lion’s share – around 77.3 percent – went to Asia. An additional 19.1 percent flowed into Africa, and the remaining 3.6 percent went to other parts of the world. https://chinapower.csis.org/china-global-arms-trade/

Lai, tell me which are the countries on this list currently at war.

Which country spent $6.4 trillion fighting wars since 2001?

Who is the best supporter of the arms industry?

given usa track record with their navy and troops all over the world. i would choose china influence and leadership in scs over usa any time hands down

OK for them to sail around but their bombing and interference on how people should lead their lives are very concerning. Always moving the goal post whenever the game disadvantage them.

Knowledge is everything.

On D-Day, the general in charge of defence, Erwin Rommel was away in Germany to celebrate his wife's birthday.

Hitler was asleep, so his Panzer divisions couldn't be moved to respond to the unexpected landing zone.

One can not be so naive to think that it is all about stats about weapon systems or military ability.

Even mundane things like strategic stockpiles of rice, water and sand would be significant when it comes to a negotiation.

Exactly...we were even taught in bmt to cover our dung after we crap...otherwise, enemy would know our diet...Maggie instant noodles, Lay's potatoe chips, Thumb up kacang...😷😁

i suspect taliban might become something like the next vietnam gov. esp now they defeated the usa allies troops in afghanistan.

they control alot of the land there, very high chance they will unite afghanistan and become the recognize gov.

Choose one side? Choose Singapore and choose survival la.

China is our biggest trade partner and US been asking ASEAN to pick a side, we all said no. We are talking about ASEAN countries with territorial disputes with China in the South China Sea. They all chose to not take side.

You want to choose US and end up like Australia? Crying their way to WTO? Farmers and wineyard suffering? Ya, Australia have backbone, they spoke up. Well done, more Chinese students will be coming to Singapore post-COVID, we can all thank Australia for that.

Worst case scenario of a war between China and US, do you want to pick a side when the topic would be on the survival of humanity?

hmm this means you have chosen a side? the dominating side?

I'll tell you our reason for not wanting to chose sides. many sg thought leaders and the gahmens position and asean countries already express that they dont want to chose sides. rationale already given. some bros also prefer not to. we want a multi lateral world, not a unilateral world led by an exclusive club of ex-colonialists.

whats your reason?

When need to choose, the side that want to control us and trigger war will be out. We don't want any war in Asia. Once the playground is in Indonesia China, vietnam. Most time the playground is in middle east. It is about time they shift home to the west to test out their weapons.

their civil war may have ended but their people still divided. never say never. there is discussion that the us can fracture. looking at the currency, it looks to be a catalyst.

empires rise and fall. even the uk might split up.

Hope this will not happen.

the very fact that we have to 吃罚酒 by the west show they are not benevolent

every wonder why the treaty of Versailles eventually created nazism? the us created the taliban. even  japan getting snubbed by the west resulted in their colonial ambitions. the history of ho chi minh, getting snubbed when he try to reach out to the us after ww2. so many examples in history. all because the west think too highly of themselves. in the end instead of dialogue it is my way or the high way.

Law of the jungle - a state of ruthless competition or self-interest…a system or mode of action in which the strongest survive..😁
