Even if they all in the specs. I think it's still quite hefty. Unless it's the turbo hybrid then maybe 150k makes sense.

Yeah. Agreed. I will sign the dotted line if it is turbo hybrid. But I highly doubt so because turbo hybrid not yet selling in other country. not sure about korea.

They stripped quite a few feature, like the blind spot camera on the dashboard, no 360 cam, and the HU screen also smaller. Hard to commit without looking at the car.

Except for the tinted windows + auto hold electronic parking brake + auto cruise control + Smart Sense, doesn't sound much more than what my current Sonata has now... my car the top spec then was listed as $123,999, this base Tucson is listed as $144,999... without the top spec Smart Sense, does that mean that the turbo engine costs $20,000 more? Cos the other specs not much different from my car... basically swapping the power tailgate for the electric front seats with driver's memory...

Other glaring omissions:

1. No front parking sensors

2. No LED headlamps - so what are they halogen or HID?

3. No smart trunk?

4. No blindspot monitor in the gauge cluster?

soon to be outright $150k going by ytd's coe results 😛  but yeah, they seem to have left out the LED headlamps. really wish they don't continue to go this half-way route with the lighting like they did with the avante S trim

Both Trim, come with Static bending and LED headlamp.

new crazy price booking due to surge COE ytd:-

152,999 >>> 1.6turbo S/R

157,999 >>> 1.6turbo S/R 'S'

I guess it's kind of a bit of everything so that there won't be some glaring omission... kind of like give you a larger screen but not the top of the line one but not tiny like 5"... got LED everything but not headlamp... hey got LED leh... oh well...

Got LED headlamp at least not so bad... static bending lights my car already have... I was hoping for active ones since the headlamps already are LED... not so difficult to do right?

This Tucson launched at the wrong timing. Almost 160k, who will buy? I will view this car again 3 years later.

Only in Singapore got this kind of wrong timing... ha ha...
