Sim Lim Tower is for small electronics components. Do they have shops selling conduits and related sockets?

Thanks all, managed to find one from an electrical store at defu lane. Now happily having breakfast with my wife at lor ah soo food center, will start working on it later. 

Eating small fish nasi lemak, hang cheng very bad. 🤣🤣

Today they didn't even sell  kuning fish and eggs, disappointing.

There is a weakness in this type of outdoor socket - the cover always breaks off near the hinge maybe due to UV light. I would paste aircon aluminium tape over the entire transparent cover, hopefully it will last much longer.

Thanks. I dont mind replacing it once in a few years but the problem now is the plug is not fully covered.

just need a different type of clear acrylic cover right. Like those for indoor sockets near windows/exposed areas

Though it seems pretty dumb that it's not the proper cover in the first place. The enlarged cover will make it more easy for water to go inside though. Cos it needs to bulge out.

I bought this shneider brand for $38.90, thought it will be quite a trusted brand, but the design does not seem right. 

Anyway i will go hunt for a better fit when i have time, hopefully can pass this one to someone else 😅

Thanks! It looks waterproof enough. How do you call this ? I searched using " threaded 3 pin waterproof  plug" etc but could not find this type of plug

Really don't know what this is called. Googled said 56p313 waterproof plug. Just show photo to the shop or ask for waterproof screw on plug.

This type only water proof when closed. Must buy this type of you plan to keep the plug on all the time.
