Modern turbo nothing special already. Turbo technology already very mature.

I am driving Forester XT. Also normal regular maintenance like any other car.

I think I found a way to save the 7 speed DSP dry clutch gearbox.

Change the oil every 40k km and use a good synthetic oil.

Add a gearbox oil cooler.

Anyone know if this will not work?

I think only the wet clutch DQ250 can

and the problematic dry clutch DQ200 cannot.

Dual clutch like the i30 has its fair share of problems.

Early gen of vw golf 2006 till 2010 has problems like mu for the dry clutch. But some manage to convert to wet clutch n live happily ever after. Just that the twin charger piston crack n supercharger clutch from the waterpump spoil but sorted out in 2012 onwards. Some had injection problems as well.

The later cars from 2013 with dry clutch from VAG seems to be a stable platform. Thev1.0T n 1.2T was not well receive and created many mechanic to be near millionaire.
