best outcome is just a small correction (2-3K) downwards

A hugh correction downwards will only bring peak demand again, and then the COE will rise, and money will get stucked in NG bids again.

Which part you think is amusing? Those that say still $1 or those that say drop by a $5K or those who say drop by $2k? Or all of the above?

What's your thoughts then?

hi calvin, i would think a 5k drop and above would be amusing..
quotas are little this bidding exercise..add that up with sales from Borneo, sales from Komoco (on outgoing Hyundai Avante), sales from PM (on Audi), sales from AG (on Opel) etc
i really see little reason for COE to fall drastically.

as much as i hope that would happen, the greater the fall, the better, as i am one of those waiting on the sidelines..its really not going to fall by much this time, if it really falls that is..
we might even see an increase in COE prices

once its broken, it will be fast and furious..
most of the car sales are priced in with high COES..
unless there is an actually fall in sales volume..it will be difficult to see a fall in COE prices
