please don't come to my neighbourhood where bird no lay eggs ... muahahaha

Nah, my reply was for the topic of price.

Bukit Panjang also on the lower end.

Nevertheless, every home is a good home no matter where because that's your nest.

It is never a good thing when public housing cost so high and our government is selling new flats based of potential land value. Our next generations are going to pay dearly for it.

I tink I'll have to keep my flat for my son...good luck to my grandchildren if there are any...

AMK DBSS consider not far from MRT, but no see $1m deal. Lol. Indeed not all DBSS would break record, always only that few DBSS break $1m deals. There is one DBSS at clementi just MOP, but surprisingly the average price sold there not rocket high.

It's all about the location.

This may be a good point for discussion though:

Will you sell away a good size TPY DBSS for a profit and then move into a leasehold condo in the non central area, eg, punngol, choa chu kang, bukit panjang, west coast, etc?

And why so?

I will not.

Can’t give up the convenience of walking to market and hawker.

MRT station is 10 mins away. So convenient to East, West or North.

PIE and KPE is 5 mins drive away.

We need to consider profile of the owner as well.

Also distance to school/work etc.

All such factors evolved all the times.

Personally I am like you...beat / kick me also won't leave my current address. Maybe we are near retirement age. Hahaha

Depends individually, some people might give up the convenience. I have a friend who stay in those hdb opposite tiong baru market, also sold off the flat and moved to west area.
