2021 Kia K5 Races Itself Because The BMW 330i Is Too Slow

I wonder what K I A is smoking?

This is like comparing dick size whereby nobody gets a trophy at the end of the day.

They still dont know they are building cars for the driver. It all depends on the driver.

But on a serious note if the GT, the 2.5L version arrives on our shores, how much will it cost? Very much like the Stinger, how many do you actually see on the road? Maybe the 1.6L version will sell better on local market. And car buyers here are very badge conscious. If they want to spend their money on a luxury car this is not it.

I like the design. On reviews, drives well for a FWD family sedan.
Would consider it as a more wallet-friendly mid sized sedan if it came with 1.6T.

But someone posted a link saying there aren't going to be RHD versions. So Australia also don't have.

And most often forget, bmw posted numbers are almost always under quoted.

and so does alot of other german cars...so that they dont get sued for false advert like one japanese auto maker did years ago.

well unfortunately, I do want to test drive this car. Find it looks very good. Certainly the best looking non premium mid sized sedans.

yup, seen a lot of Kdrama using this and at night with the Daytime running light looks good .

A even better looking one is the Hyundai G70 facelift-

Hyundai has come a long way from the joke of

Hope You Understand Nothing Drivable And Inexpensive

So the prices kept going up for the N-line if its really good.

not that big a fan of the g70 looks. It does look somewhat jaguar-like though.

Not a bad effort from Kia. Even the base version has 180hp, and the interior has a BMW look also. The rear looks a bit Audi-esque, which is good. It's quite clear the Koreans are aiming this car at the European big 3.

The sonata 1.6T seems nice and way better than a passat 1.8T

Just not convince Hyundai has sorted out the Dual Clutch issue from the i30 experience

Unfortunately many kimchi cars nowadays are still sold from the value proposition angle i.e European car look at Asian prices

Not to say that's a bad thing. Often the specs are probably even better than conti

But the problem is that a value buy is a decision from the head, not the heart. Once the novelty new car smell wears off, the heart yearns for more.....

From the first impression, people already can tell who is faster by looking at the badge of both cars🤣
