1fast1 Supersonic October 22, 2020 Share October 22, 2020 Not to mention with COVID-19, it feels "icky" to me to roll down my windows for a prolonged period in public. I recognise the risk to be very low but I prefer to maintain some closure in the car environment (my A/C is set to recirculate for this reason). Probably use less than 2 times in a year. Not worth the installation trouble unless you park under direct sunlight every day. On the other hand, kick to open trunk is used at least every week when my hands are full with grocery bags. Leave a tiny gap on your side and the rear left side window.
Watwheels Supersonic October 23, 2020 Share October 23, 2020 There are 2 other alternatives to do it. 1) Before you off the ignition switch your aircon's air recirculating mode to outside air mode. Heat is able to escape thru the vents. 2) Install wind deflectors on the 4 windows. You may leave the windows slightly open to let heat escape. Nobody will see it and rain will not enter. Or you may apply both of the above. Up to you.

I installed visors, remotely wind down the windows, wind them up if it looks like it might rain, installed shades and also tinted the glass, how's that for kiasu 🙂 1
