What i find quite silly is the dowry/giving back tables etc. Whatever lah. That one definitely very outdated.

 

When come to our generation probably we can omit the wedding dowry and banquet. 

The only one I insist is the customary tea session. To me that is the ritual of accepting a new son / daughter in law into the family.

As a Christian family there is no need for any praying to ancestor.

I wore mine for a day if i remembered correctly.

Immediately after the banquet  lunch session less then 24 hours we were off for our honeymoon. Safety concern we kept it inside the box and till today those rings have not seen any daylights. 😄

Maybe my wife did ..who know..haha
