Have you seen the differences between the older and the current HDB flats?
Not only are they smaller, the taller buildings mean more people are packed into the same footprint, and the risks of noise pollution or meeting some annoying neighbor may go up exponentially..

You may also get more vertical traffic jams, more people trying to park in the lots and squeezing onto the same feeder buses to carry you to the MRT stations...

Dont stay in those prime or popular location, usually those BTOs are built at least 30-40 plus storey. Stay in those far away from town BTOs, highest around 20 plus storey, or some even less than 20 storey.

Ya, boon keng HDB indeed quite ex even for those older HDB in that area.

"It was very well received from the time we listed the unit. We definitely had more than 20 in-person viewings over three months and they were serious buyers," said Ms Ong.

Mr Long said they received more than five offers in total, with buyers coming in very closely before reaching the final price tag of $1.4 million.

The unit is located on the 41st floor of a 48-storey block and has 96 years and one month left on its lease.

The project - City Vue @ Henderson - is a Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (Sers) replacement site in the mature estate of Bukit Merah designated for the Redhill Close Sers project in 2011.

Question...if given 2 refinancing packages..one for fixed rate 2.7% for 2 years lock in versus another for 1.65% lock in for one year..which one is worth taking up?

coz no demand. No alot of people want to climb up and down.

this quite tricky. i would take 2 years coz lazy to refinance every year. Some banks will have admin cost for refinance, so better check first. But 2.7 is quite high right?

2.7 higher than hdb rate. 😅

No demand? Thought many people like to stay in two level house? You see those loft unit in dawson so popular.

Ya. Jumbo is getting more popular than mansionette. Those with young kids or elderly will not consider. My friend had a hard time selling his.

have a friend who is a maisonette lover. die die must buy HDB maisonette as 1st place.
