ABS is anti-lock brake system le.

Anti-skid is traction control.

If not required to slam hard, why would Merc invent brake assist?

are we in braking situation or moving situation ?

Nowadays an anti lock braking system is used in almost all modern vehicles. This system prevents accidents like this, where you lose control of the steering as you apply the brakes. With ABS you will be able to steer the vehicle properly and it also reduces the braking distance. What is ABS? How is it able to prevent accidents due to the braking? We will explore these questions in this video.

I jammed braked really hard.....

ABS activated....

No need to steer..... Bcos will not hit the car in front.......

Then bang.....

My car got hit from behind then surge forward... Hit the front vehicle...

Still kept stepping hard on brake pedal....

Then few more bangs...

That's the only time I really felt ABS...... 3rd of a 7 chain accident 😅

Activated... but the situation....

No use...

Hi! New here, hope you’re all well.

My brother has a suzuki cervo sr 2009, a week ago i was having the car’s wheel hub adjusted and the right wheel abs speed sensor broke while taking off the hub. The sensor wasn’t available atm so i drove home and got back the next to to get the sensor. Sensor didn’t work, the code error about speed sensor not right didn’t go away after trying to clear the error with the odc software. also tried to put the already working left sensor to right, the error didn’t go. (Now it had two errors left and right, error for left sensor went away when the sensor was put back on the left). Please guide me how can that be fixed, the mechanic says might have to replace the whole abs module, which i cant understand how can that get faulty. It was working fine before the sensor and the sensor broke so its obviously the sensor’s problem. Shouldn’t it work when we put a new sensor there!?
please give you expert opinion on the matter.
thanks.
