Yes. Set up by a pair of Singaporean brothers.

They used to do mostly gaming laptops and desktops. But now with the stay home thing, They have some productivity mini desktops

Not really that alone.
If u buy lights, then u would know that a 6000K one is described as cool daylight ie your normal flourescent lighting.
Whereas a 4000K one is warm light. Which is what u get from fires/oil/gas lamps/candles.

is it also the same for the street lights?

notice that they have changed to LED ones, and the roads at night are now brighter and clearer

but i still prefer the previous bulb type that gave an orange glow

Yes in general. The higher the kelvin 6000 vs 3500-4000, the brighter it seems to the human eye.

This is a nice link to a calculator of lumens needed:

http://www.charlstonlights.com/led-light-requirement-calculator

And something on warm vs cool lighting...

What color lighting to use:

The problem with white light at night is, if there is a heavy downpour, your distance visibility is greatly reduced. And the pot holes n floods level are difficult to gauge

indirect and warm lighting makes a huge difference in coziness especially in the evenings. It's probably the most important factor.

Yeah just have a study/work lamp if u need one.

True. Other than toilets, kitchen and aquariums, I only have warm white lights at home.

BTW, in New Zealand, full-spectrum lights are used in classrooms. Very few 4-eye kids there.

i think it's more regular eye rest and outdoor activities for the Kiwis. But the full spectrum lights cant hurt.

Both me and the wife are short sighted. I was wearing glasses at age 4.
My kids are 5 and 8 and don't need glasses yet. My wife is quite on about eye rest when doing anything with screens and TRY to have outdoor activities.

Wifey and i have a rule, absolutely no white/fluorescent lighting allowed in the house. Almost every room has indirect lighting too. We use Hues in most of the house so can turn up the brightness if necessary, almost most of the time we're at mid-brightness.
