Biggest lesson learnt is when road is free, do not drive on lane 1. Hope that the cam car driver learns and follows in the future. Stopped on lane 1, that too on a bend, another fu*k up.

The driver probably shiat his pants or need to stop to let the soul settle back in the body. What a close shave!

This one really serious...

LTA still dragging their feet on discretionary turns..

Blame the rider making the turn despite traffic coming his way, and the rider going at quite high speed crossing the junction. Nothing to blame LTA in this case.

Good lesson for both of them. If they survive.

Might as well build a barricade to stop people from making right turn in a discretionary right turn junction. Red light not deterrent enough.

Onus is on the road users imo. Not the system.

SPF should wait for the guy to recover who ran the discretionary turn, and administer like 10-20 rotan.
All these people who think they can do it, should be punished harshly. A few days ago this taxi ran red light and I gave him high beam, he slows down and drove off. When these people are not given enough punishment for killing people "clementi case, where girl got killed because of taxi driver fault" then they just keep trying their luck.

I don't know, but outcome would been same even he would be driving in lane 2 and that PMD dick was coming in lane 2 as well. No one expect people to jump in front of them while they are driving at highway, it was not even a small road to begin with.

But knowing outcome of previous case when taxi drive ran discretionary turn and killed passenger and never got 100% liability, same outcome could be here.
People like this biker who ran discretionary turn should get 100% liability regardless the speed of oncoming vehicle (people talk about speed of bike from a stationary car prospective, they should only talk if they are using speed gun or video footage with speedo meter display).

You can calculate the exact speed from the distance travelled between frames. For computer videos it is usually 25 frames per second. The biker looked like he was speeding. Anyway he probably came out worse than the turning biker.

Have have, Singaporeans everything like to blame government, so sure blame LTA, Ministry of Transport and Transport Minister.

Maybe also Ministry of Education for not educating them.
