Can anyone explain wat is the rationale that some can do it within same day, some need 1 or 2 days and some even take weeks after registration ??!

Technically PDI shod have been done earlier so after car is registered they just need to fix up number plate?? Is there anything else to be done?

It's true that depreciation would alr starts the day it is reg, haven't collect car have to start "losing" money alr.... Tsk 😔

There is no rationale. Each AD have their own protocols on delivering cars. I think a few days from registration to delivery is acceptable but definitely not a week or more.

I know for the case of PML/BMW, their year cutoff with BMW Asia is normally end Nov. This is likely for them to earn bonuses, incentives etc and as such, they will register all the cars sold by that date and start delivering car by car which may stretch to a week or more. U can’t really argue with them as they likely gave discounts and over trades to these buyers with the undertaking that car has to be registered by end Nov.

They even register cars which hv not found buyers under company and get PPSL to sell as Mgmt Cars just to meet the cut-offs. Think there are quite a number of such cars now being sold by PPSL under this method. They are priced competitively but likely with no free svc, no freebies and maybe even less warranty.

When searching for the 2GC, found abt 10 or so mgmt units registered on 27 Nov , bare car no solar film camera etc, no servicing also but 5 years warranty intact

Showroom traffic is reportedly light in the past 2 weeks.
Looks like Santa may bring lower COE prices to all those bidding this round....hohoho!

Coe went up last round, so naturally showroom traffic is light.

Time of the month again ... frenzy or muted market to close out our eventful 2020?

Particularly excited on the 8th G-bid.

This thread has been very quiet. Still wondering if today is bidding.

8th G-bid? You are very patient. Good luck
