Did not expect to still have this here.

There was a CSJ petition of preservation of this, as well as the forest in BB...which highlighted ppl attention to the forests.

Otherwise it would not have been that noticable to the everyday man.

That being said, while I do not support politicking of forests, I will go and have a look one day.

Which part of clementi? Hopefully they would not clear off the forest to build houses?! Like what they have done for developing the new tengah estate.

Publicise it and hordes of crowds starved of someplace new to go will be trampling into it.

Don’t give it any attention, and no one will mourn its loss.

It’s the perpetual dilemma of conservation.

Nice video. But it just reminds me of NS time....full of mosquitoes. You see in the video there's so much stagnant water. Those living around it better be prepared.

Unfortunately this looks like it will be sold off for residential usage to accommodate the 10M population.  Enjoy while it lasts!

Looks like they are going to develop every piece of forest eventually ?! 😓

I have seen lot of people flying drone there and attempt to track, but return after a short distance.

used to be able to see an old two or three storey abandoned house/mansion inside that area, abt 100m or 150m away fm Clementi road. Visible from the upper deck of double decker bus when going to school back in the day.

Turbocharged

govt plan is always clear the forest and cut down the trees, then after that launch the "plant a million trees" campaign 😂

That's where responsible governments come in, to take up the mantle of preservation, ensuring responsible public ingress and behaviour into the area while still giving everyone a chance to enjoy the preserve.

Do we have a responsible government? I wonder.
