But doesn't prevent the crash..

737max is a good example of over-reliance on technology to correct design fault.

Nothing can prevent a crash if an aircraft pilot NOT in the correct state of mind.

All these should be cloud based! No physical device on the plane required...

Your suggestion is very dangerous as it means terrorists can take over planes through the internet.

with today's tech so solid state; just as in like car cams or even polis  have camera's recording ; I'm sure they can put a camera in the cockpit corner or lower part of the plane near landing gear (which is quite solid heavy and easily found) only thing is the extreme cold freezing temps and water tight space for the recording card and its maintainence too

Yes, many things are possible. But at the end of the day, its cost vs benefit ratio.

Bro, even datacenter can satellite can suffer outage. I still feel safer when there are humans to override when things go south.

Actually should not come to conclusion that fast. Need to wait for investigation to complete before coming to conclusion.

I never conclude it was suicide.

Sudden dive either structural issue like broken elevator or tail. Or intentional dive.

Or shot down.

2 possibilities, intentional pilot action (Suicide) or uncontrolled rudder movement and jammed (happened to in the past to 737-400 and 737-500 belongs to the same generation). Broken tail or being shot down will not cause a nosedrive of 20000ft/min.

Like those who went through aviation training, imstructor kick rudder fully to induce controlled spin?

You meant if tail broken or shot down the plane fell faster? ROD more than 20kft/Sec?

But there was a case from NatGeo ACI where the tail or rudder rivets were not properly secured, portion of tail got ripped off and plane fell from the sky.
