A lot of MNCs have removed the word bonus from their company culture long long ago , especially the American listed MNC, when the CEOs are measured by earning per share, driven by individual greed. It could be a prior agreement by the mgmt with the workers, in normal times thinking that it's impossible to reach such levels of profit or revenue, so almost impossible to be paying out so much.
