If a plug-in charging function is included then will be considered a EV haha.

Rather than Battery-powered EV, maybe it is Engine-powered EV.

😂

Any idea how much to install a charging unit at landed home? Any advantage whether AC or DC charging? What's the tesla charging specs? Hardly any info on this from Tesla website

I will install a DC if I do get an EV as DC charging is faster compare to AC.

Any indication of what is the insurance cost for Tesla Model 3 Standard range. (i.e. benchmark with Camry). Is it 50% higher?

No indication yet. But insurance is tied up with Liberty.

I suspect they have a panel range. Go by age

I am curious on the limitations. Anything with regard to fire? Think other than car owners, the insurance companies would be most concerned about the cars.

Out of interest, what is your friend's age group and yrs of driving experience like? For SR+ or Performance? Not buying but just curious cos $5.8k quote does sounds a little on the higher side for a car with mass market ambitions, esp if it is for SR+, which is reasonably quick but not really excessively so.

Unless ICE car owners want to claim OD.

I find Nissan e-power concept quite interesting. It's closest to a practical EV as we can get at this point

I usually like to diss Nissan. But i think Nissan's way is the way forward if u don't have your own landed home charging.

Though the Rav4 prime has very good reviews in the USA. Many are saying it's the ideal vehicle for this hybrid future.

Yeah...the e-power works well for Sg's context. Let's hope Nissan's design department catches up too. The Serena looks so ewwwww. The new Note is miles better looking than the cheapo looking old one but still ain't a masterpiece. The new Kicks got hope but kinda small
