Understand the extend of latitude to North and South is affected by landmass or ocean.

I thought the belt of ITCZ was affected in relation with the tilt of earth rotational axis and the Sun seems to move northwards between Jan-Jun with the sun at highest northern limit of the belt in Jun and move southwards from Jul-Dec with then sun at the lowest southern limits in Jun?

And Singapore being in the middle will have twice a year then the Sun is at our zenith?

And during these 2 periods will have thunderstorms? Are as inter monsoon periods?

You are correct in saying the ITCZ will pass through Singapore twice a year. Whether the current weather we are experiencing now is directly affected by the ITCZ or not, is (unfortunately) not something I can confirm. May or may not be a factor.

With us humans messing up Mother Earth so much, all conventional meteorological studies can be thrown out of the windows. Nothing is constant anymore.

Taiwan is the next potential wind farm. Quite a few companies are eager to go in there. My ex-company setup an office there to look at the opportunities.

The first offshore wind farm only came online in early 2020. What you guys saw was the installation phase of the wind generators. It was not yet online then.

Offshore wind farmsEdit

The first offshore wind farms in Taiwan, Formosa 1 Offshore Wind Farm, started its commercial operation in April 2017 at off the coast of Miaoli County. The development project is led by Swancor Renewable. The firsts stage of the construction involved two 4 MW wind turbines which were installed in November 2016 with a total generation capacity of 8 MW. The second stage of the construction was on-grid in December 2019 which involved 20 Siemens Gamesa's SWT-6.0-154 turbines with a total capacity of 120 MW.[15]

Formosa II wind farms will be constructed also offshore Miaoli County with a planned capacity of 300-500 MW. It is expected to pass the environmental impact assessment (EPA) and obtain commercial operating license in 2017. Formosa III wind farm will be constructed offshore Changhua County with a planned capacity of 1,900 MW. It is also expected to pass the EPA and obtain its license in 2017.[16] In 2020 TSMC signed a 20-year power purchase agreement from 2026 for 920 MW.[17]

I think one of our local shipyard has a contract to fabricate the Changhua offshore wind farm substation.
