In used car market, it is sold above JPY7m.

The problem is that in 1989 to 1993 (Legacy RS to Impreza WRX), having 220hp in a 1.1/2ton awd car was enough to make supercar drivers sweat. Now 300hp is barely enough to be faster than Vezel PHV for 1st 5m. 

This 'everybody turbo awd' + hybrid assist is making 5 sec 0-100 the new normal for warm performance. No sub 4 second seems to be pedestrain. Inflation is horrifying. Motor journalists would use phrases like 'neck snapping' and 'eyeball popping' when describing a 5 second car in 1989. Somehow 30 years have evolved a stronger set of neck muscles and eyeballs for our motoring writers.
