meaning all the aftermarket exhaust will not be able to get approval.

Faster keep stock for the exhaust with the LTA compliant cert. Next few year sell sure can make money!

Bro hard truth..

some of the after approved market exo is softer than stock .. just that it’s lighter

just go ask STA for those that certified the exos, the STA guy will laugh 😆

pay more money for softer sound

Some of the guys who do diy mods actually just lower the exos hanger and drill small holes on top of the muffler box. But must paint after drill or will have rust. Most drill 8 to 12 holes on both side on top n hang it back up.

the down side is the boot get heated up slightly

what is the purpose of doing so? Make it louder? But like that the integrity of the exhaust has tampered alrd.

What's the fun having the sound from a speaker? 😂

Like that I might as well stay home and upgrade my vinyl set-ups. hahahahah.

There’s a way to remove the sound..

lexus was too quiet n hence need to have sound.. Renault also have a sound generator with skyline to Ducati iirc and a Renault R5

The muffler box is large. So a few holes like 4mm drill bits will not make much of a structural issue.

but in the hope of making it louder, the person drilling it may get carried away by drilling more. Not really in the hope of making it louder , but from the onset of deaf induce impairment so what is loud to us is his 60db when it’s actually 140db already .

the good thing is if kanna summoned or pull into the obseleted lane 8 , just get carpet tape from the value shop at 2 dollars and do a Mickey Mouse job.

go home , go underneath the car and tear it off

I believe by default, it’s configure at the factory and is not an option.

just that many perceived the sound is the whine from the battery alternator.

actually my take is just put on the cheapest tire can Liao. The tire noise generated will be able to frighten dogs n cats already

Low rolling resistance tyre has much more grip than cheapest tire.

This is especially so during wet road.

Normally when you go fir cheapest tire, you already forego the interest to live Liao .. so the thot of wet or dry weather does not come into a inform decision..

else the tire shop would make you sign on a conditional discharge when every you buy
