BTW, which brand & model you saw at car showroom.

Nowadays still got handbrake in between seats ? [speechless]

Have not touch a handbrake for 20+ years .... :secret-laugh:

Usually foot or electronic (push button) .

Toyota Corolla Altis and Vios at Borneo Motor, and Nissan Sylphy at TC Motor.

Wow... I need to make sure before I engage reverse and step on gas, the car must ABSOLUTELY stop otherwise the grinding sound is terrible.

Pardon my bad English.

The word "Period" behind my statement is actually to mean a punctuation, and not a noun as per the "Period" that refers to ladies biological cycle.

My bad.

Cannot believe the lastest altis still using handbrake siah? Lol.

That's a problem too, with that handbrake lever sticking up.

If my wife is going to take over driving that vehicle after I alighted and she decided to just shift internally from pax seat to driver seat she may get straddled by that thing.

I saw a taxi driver kept pressing his foot on the brake on the pie.

Also not wrong what. Accelerate a bit then gently press brake all the way.

Maybe he got come here and ask why need to change brake pad after only 5k?

Also not wrong what.

:D

Last time taxis were having manual transmission. Some drivers had the habit of resting their left foot on the clutch pedal to take care of the engine, in case the engine died!  That was not wrong also what! May be they had substantial shares in certain workshops or they could be the owners of clutch plate manufacturing plants!🤣

That's exactly correct.

Even just resting the foot there is actually half clutching and that wears out the clutch much faster.

Better to rest the foot on the brake. Brake pads so much cheaper than clutch plates.

:D

Also not wrong.

Many people when they sit in car will automatically put their foot on the brake without realising it.

I was walking to my car and saw a brake lights on.

If anyone pak tau at ECP remember to lift your foot off or all the chiko peh that like to peep into your car will know which cars to target.

Why make it easier for them?

:D
