MD stands for?

It is just a product code-name.

"Hyundai began developing the new Elantra in 2008 under the codename MD. The project took 33 months and 300 billion won (US $267 million based on today’s currency exchange rates) to go from concept to customer."

what is the FC- MD (5th) & AD (6th) models? both same engine right?

Not much difference... unless you have the Smart Stream engine variant for the later AD models...

my elantra FC 9.8km/L .. fc too bad right?

on 18" rims

It's your driving style... you step harder to move faster then the FC will be poor lor... and your daily route... you start stop more, slow down and speed up more, then the FC will be poorer... highway driving at cruising speed and constant speed will give you very good FC...
