Nice spoiler on spoiler. This Porsche can take off already at high speed, so much downforce 😆

(edited)

A civic with a roof spoiler and a vortex generator. Failed Physics in skool.

The spoiler on spoiler car. So many, so much downforce. Can it do a wheelie?

Both pics taken by me and bitched on Facebook with my friends.

For SUV, usually the rear is quite short  and can kana direct sunlight. This will provide more shade for the rear passengers bah. If not the sun rays may shine directly on the passengers heads.

OH! Ok I got your point.
Protect passengers' heads and hairs if got and also cut down hazards.
Sometimes I saw some heads very glossy and sparkling emanating from some cars rear windscreen and they are quite blinding. Hopefully more roof spoilers will shield those heads from emitting too much distractions.

Recently I saw some Honda HRV/Vezel and Toyota CHR with an additional roof spoiler on top of the built-in or stock one!😧

Why the need for double spoilers?

To put kids' school shoes for drying or airing or what🙄🙄🙄

Sound like putting 2 condom at one go 🤣🤣🤣

Probably damaged and punctured one spot when reversing, and to save repair costs, just drill out a few more holes to match....

So did you see the problem with that black Honda owner?

He drilled so many holes and yet refused to install reversing sensors so that he or she can reverse more safely in future.😑

Spoiler is very useful during Phase 2HA when hawker centers and coffeeshops can only takeaway.

Those are what they call speed holes. At high speed, air will be pressurized inside the bumper and create a parachute effect. The holes are to let air pass through and reduce drag. Now people just install a rear diffuser to tackle that issue. Those are real rear diffusers covering the whole rear axle assembly. Not those only found on the bottom of the bumper kind.

Alot of dragsters and old skool track cars have those. What they are doing on a 1.8 litre na sedan I have no idea.

I've learnt something new! 👍🙂

Spoiler above bodywork is to create downforce.  Downforce is like drag.

I believe the owners of cars with double spoilers believe their cars are too powerful and too fast, hence they need more downforce to slow their cars down.

Respect to these owners who go out of their way to slow down their cars.
