if "this company" operation is "greatly" affected due to 1 x S Pass holder during this heighten period ...

this company BCP is gone case liao ... i will be super duper worry for this company sustainability

service is affected ... perhaps delayed or somewhat to be adjusted or recalibrated ... that's understandable

but until so jialat that must ask MP to "tekan" MOM to let in 1 x S Pass holder ... si mi tai ji?

MOM can let him come back. But that will be 3 months later from now, after we cleared our heightened measures. Same for Simi LJ dependant passes, PRs whatever nonsense who happily flew in/ out despite knowing the risks.

If every one come tell our gov got relatives dying back home, how to verify if it's true? If out of compassion and made the concessions, who is going to answer if infections got leaked to the community?

Anyway, too late. That has already happened. He want to come back just come la, stop the wayang. We've already been exposed, add 1 more in no issue.

The four unlinked cases in the community, aged between 24 to 45, are:

a 45-year-old Singaporean man who is a Safe Distancing Ambassador deployed at Westgate (fully vaccinated)

a 45-year-old Singaporean man who works as a deliveryman at Fairfield Book Publishers

a 24-year-old Singaporean woman who works as a basic care assistant at Alexandra Hospital

a 28-year-old Singaporean man who works as an engineer at Patec

Three prison inmates and five school children also tested positive.

https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/safe-distancing-ambassador-5-school-children-and-3-prison-inmates-among-34-new-covid-19

I really thinking how all these people got the covid virus from if they are unlinked to any previous covid cases?

Great summary of what were discussed here. Even our frustration with their strawman argument on cannot close border and the need of fw to built bto also mentioned.

MP Baey should read  this article before he go and help someone with a unverified sob story to come in thru appeal. Again seeing ft skill is worth risking Singaporean life.

the airport operations depend on one skilled foreign worker?

well done on the company's planning and business continuity

Many many local airport workers were retrenched last year and many still unemployed. Whats wrong with recruiting these unemployed locals as a stop-gap? Surely the skillset is there.

So finally someone "up there" decide to actually read online chatter

I read another article sometime about paradox of trust. Ironically those who trust in govt take the least precaution coz they believe they are safe or that govt will handle it. Aka "moral hazard". Those who dont trust take more precaution. And therefore ironically it is us skeptics and cynics who do more to help promote safe community measures

I see.. this is very good customer service indeed. I think pap mp deserve a good increment for helping foreigners (though called in by a resident) because they go beyond the nature of their job scope to help people who are not Singaporeans.
