Agree. The government should declare and enforce it.

The bit by bit tightening doesn't look effective. The virus don't follow such patterns.

The approach so far has been wait and see. But the spreading doesn't wait. Anyone else feels the spread is worse this time round?

Agree, in fact I think 3 weeks (21 days) should be better.

Just declare state of emergency and everybody stays stuck in their home for 21 days.

Why drag the pain? :lll._.:

Depends on how bad their lung being scarred, 1 of the long term side effect (i know) is reduction of lung capacity.

The way our body immune  respond to covid, the other side effect is blood clot. This can been lingering. There are reports of recovered covid patients who died from strokes months after. And many of them were young patients and had mild symptoms while they were having covid19/.

More like a prelude to a CB

This variant is so 'virulent' than the OG and attacking our younger popuation. I think a CB is needed.

i hear rumor. i think no one do study and they only suspect.

the german news say recovered patients have long term problems. early in the pandemic they did not know it was the cytokine storm problem. now they are using drugs to control it. im not sure what other side effects it can cause, but making men impotent is one of them.

Still, because of the need to remove masks, and people just can't refrain from yakking while having meals, it is a very likely mode of transmission.

Even for the airport cluster, the basement food court was identified as one of the possible areas where infection spread to others.

Hawker centre, coffeeshop etc. in neighbourhood won't die - they still have tar-pao customers, people still need to buy meals.

But those F&B restaurants, jialat..

I share the same views and just to add to that, organizations have more than a year to put in place proper BCP procedures but many didn't bother thinking everything will return to norm after sometime.

I notice even with government support, all these organizations that refuse to change are the usual ones to complain when sh!t hits the fence and this applies to some individuals as well.

Some are just too 'iron teeth' to change.

After so long now then they say covid is airborne? 😲

well they cant test it.. based on real cases they try to figure out if it was airborne infection or droplet infection. if it was inconclusive, they cant publish it.

past assumption was that corona virus was too heavy and too fragile to survive in aerosol form..
