Dear all, it is impossible to have zero cases after so many rounds of mutations. 
 

Even my China friends in medical told me they do not include cases with no symptoms where in fact there so many of them. The new variants i was told are more potent. The affected pple gets sick faster and to a more serious state.

Get use to it and get vaccinated fast. After which the covid will just be a common flu till the next mutations alike SARS and MERS

With the way Singpore do the testing and ring fencing,  I don't expect the number to go down.

If Taiwan did the way we test, they wil have many times more. Their low numbers is 自欺欺人.

If Taiwan did like what Singapore did, the current Gov will be forced down...

They cannot do that cos they are so against widen the testing criteria. 
 

Anyway, heard both the number of infected cases and death rate continues to decrease. Good news indeed.
 

Not sure if their gov will be ‘brave’ to reduce their Phase 3 restriction after whatever date they have set cos they are probably many undetected cases around.

••Hearsay from med personnel from a few hospitals in Taipei. Since late last week, families of deceased suspected of COVID were told that if they want test to be conducted, whole family will be tested too & body will have to be cremated within 24hrs….can see the deceased family off. 
 

•• The hospital my friend is at does not have such a policy. Above was what his counterparts from some other hospitals shared.

second day into the vaccination program, first batch for those above 85 yrs old, 13 old people died after taking the vaccine.

of course they are old with many health issues, but why take the risk? by the way the govt compensate up to TW$ 6 mil if found related to the vaccine.

wow ! within 2 days 13 old people died after taking vaccine? 

13 out of how many vaccinated ? 

Taiwan's death rate compared to their daily announced detected case is like around 10%, wonder their death rate related to vaccination is what level ?

That is a lot of vaccine related death after just 2 days of vaccination exercise. 😱

sorry should be above 70 yrs old got priority. Report say about 100k of then taken the vaccine. Mostly above 80yo.
