Exactly. I used to eat that a few years back but now stopped going because it’s too long queue.

Fish soup that other bro recommend will be another one if you don't mind the queue .

there is one wanton mee stall, same row as the fish soup , maybe next stall or 2 stall away; but they open only for breakfast, sometimes i went there around 11am plus already closing for the day liao, so very long time no eat since i do not go there in early morning.

That stall has really good pork rib noodle. They cook until the cartilage is very soft. But long time never eat there cuz it was closed a few times I go there

For 409 Market.

If you like Fish soup 🍲

韩江鱼汤 is good.

Their soup is clear type, no milk and MSG.

But usually long queue expected.

At the HC opp Temasek JC, there is also a stall called 韩江鱼汤 which I like. Old style. Used to be owned and run by an old couple who have since sold it to a younger PRC woman. Taste wise changed a bit but still ok.

Are these 2 stalls related?

the bedok Han Jiang is also an old timer there given the condition of its stall. But the previous owners grew old (I think they are at least late 70s early 80s) and did not want to continue anymore. Children also don't want to take over.

Their dish is super similar to the AMK one based on photos - clear flavorful soup, batang fish (but always cut haphazardly), a couple of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, 1 piece of that dried fish bone, pork lard and a splash of pig oil. I like it so much that I only eat that stall every time I go there.

Their customer base is mainly middle aged and older people.

Err all fish soup stall predominantly older people queue one la. Middle aged and above is the norm....

Ive never seen any youngster want to eat fish soup except when they are sick.
