Its like using a cardboard to cover yourself in a heavy down pour now.

issuing another paper is literally asking for another cardboard to cover.

can stay dry for how long?

$6.2bil issue, goodness, thats one helluva big issue.

unfortunately, more jobs simply have to go...  Or more cuts on salaries have to be made.  And please enough of that lousy hedging

It looks like air travel will take longer than expected to recover, at least in Asia, i am sure deeper cuts (headcount and salary) are being contemplated.

Cardboard? I think it's more like a single sheet of newspaper!

I have said before, the shares is not worth 2 bucks after all these dilutions, and that's assuming it returns to normal profitability.

Have to . Must.  No choice.  Start from the top, reduce salaries all round.  No bonus to speak off.

After Hyflux, if anyone touches this, they deserve to lose their shirt.

I simply don't trust Singapore, Inc. anymore. Used to be that I trusted the ostensibly gahmen-backed (cronyistic but what the hey) business model of some companies, but I trust nothing now.

Ah Gong will save them... regardless.

I don't think they will be allowed to fail

So there is upside in buying their shares for long term.

The company will not fail. Just that it won't be the same shareholders. Or not the same % anyway.
