Prices just spike leading up to it... Don't fancy such tradition. 

It's like during covid.... Everyone rushing to instant noodles, rice pasta, toilet paper etc.....

If not for price control measures in place those basic food would have spike in pricing. 

What about bak kwa? Super expensive during Chinese new year. Must queue like shit at some stalls too. And most are bbq too fast and burnt.

I don't like sweet stuff so won't purposely buy it.

If someone bought or give me a pack, I may eat 1 or 2 slices.

Bak kwa i cannot eat now liao cause too heaty, might get sore throat after eating. 😅
