Jamesc Hypersonic September 15, 2021 Share September 15, 2021 If we could have sold Origi for 15m we should have and got that Odsonne Edouard who was only 14m. He has speed and finishing.

Akula Turbocharged September 15, 2021 Author Share September 15, 2021 What a game. Thankfully we prevailed in the end. Got off to a good early start and took the lead. Then come the penalty miss by Salah (normally he is quite spot on). Then somehow we found ourselves 1-2 down at HT, with Milan getting 2 quick fire goals. Fortunately, the lads didn’t allow it to sapped their confidence and we first equalized then grabbed the winner. Origi puts in a good shift, but appears to have been injured. Great to see the crowds back in Anfield. YNWA
Raymondism Twincharged September 16, 2021 Share September 16, 2021 A win is a win... comes with points, positive gosl difference and 3 goals scored.... Good for Gomez to make his first start this season... The forwards need to finish off those chances as our defence hasnt gone back to the standard we set two seasons ago.. plus we are going to see more rotations in back four
Fooblack Supercharged September 16, 2021 Share September 16, 2021 Didnt watch the game but the win was still well deserved despite the close scoreline. Klopp sprung a surprise by naming a weakened team without VVD and Mane. Pool bossed the entire game, apart from the 2 min whereby they let in 2 goals due to poor defensive transitions. Gomez is obviously not VVD and understandably rusty. The other blemish was Salah missing the pen which stops his streak at 19 pens. A win nevertheless and ultimately its importance is critical as if Pool wins all its home games, then it will technically be home and dry to reach the knock out phases. So, this is a 1st step done. Atletico drew with Porto. This is a best outcome for us. Pool play at Porto in a fortnight. Avoiding a loss is the most impt thing then.

Extinguisher 6th Gear September 16, 2021 Share September 16, 2021 The 2 Milan goals exposed our weakness at right back, TAA seems to be dreaming for the1st goal, and he was up in the opposition half when milan counter on our right.
