Every angle possible to view the winning goal.

Salah's assist is sublime.

The last gap winner was euphoric but I also felt the wolf's anguish.

The touchline celebration by the subs and backroom staff said it all. Especially Tsimikas.

The long pass from VVD to Salah was fantastic and Salah ball control supert ....  :a-m1212:

Most strikers would chest or control the ball first and face defenders but Salah did the different. :serious-business:

Watched Salah's second goal...

I wonder if the ball will go in without Pickford's fingertip assist

Btw Origi's goal looked like a classic Ian Rush turn and shoot...

Pool's consecutive scoring at least 2 goals per game comes to an end.  However, we have Origi to thank for the precious 3 pts which have seen us leapfrog over Chelsea into 2nd place.

Pool were not at their best against Wolves. It shows that we continue to struggle if the opposition parks a 5 man defence which we just cant break down.  we did produce some changes and Jota could have easily scored on another  day... but he was extremely wasteful.. perhaps overly generous to his ex-employer on his birthday.

These 2 points gained in the final minute could well prove to be very valuable in this tight title race..  Chelsea didnt look like they will drop pts a month but has now consistently lost points. It is now City's turn to appear uncatchable. Pool have to up their game from now on to keep City in view.

I wouldn't say Liverpool played badly against Wolves. Not their best game surely but not as bad given the chances created. Before Origi's goal, there was the Jota glaring miss and Mane's superb strike only to be denied by Wolves keeper Jose.

Wolves is a very disciplined and they clearly are happy with taking a point from the game right from the start. They defended well and Keeper Jose was in fine form. Our front three was kept very quiet throughout most of the game. I would say the final pass is far from perfect but other than that, not our best but we did ok.

It's Wolves defenders that just wack every balls away in any directions whenever they can and playing with 8 at the back.... :lll._.:

Klopp had said in the interview that he was going to look into the system Wolves applied and find a way to beat the system if other teams try to apply how Wolves played.    :we-all-gonna-die:

Wolves have the 4th best defence in the league and if you watch the game vs Pool, it is no wonder that this was the case. They are extremely well organised and are prepared to cede possessions just to make their defence water tight.

Pool with the best attack on the continent failed to register a goal in the 1st 93 minutes of the game.  There were good chances created but our forwards were constantly under pressure even when these opportunities came by. hence, they did not succeed in registering earlier.

Just hoping that the African Cup will be postponed or cancelled. Can't afford to have 3 players out, in particular Mane and Salah out for a month. It will be a waste to a pretty great start we have so far. Knowing LFC Management, it is unlikely that we get quality recruits to come in Jan 22. Besides, Klopp's style, come in, train for at least 2 to 3 months before getting some time on competitive grounds. As such, the Jan 22 Transfer Window is not going to help.

Yes, there were chances, but there were not many real good ones, and for the few that did materialise, Jota/Salah/Mane couldn't capitalise.

The team was clinical for many matches recently, and while I'm not hoping for them to keep winning 4 or 5-nil, the attackers would certainly have to take full advantage of any real good opportunities coming their way. Cannot afford to be wasteful - esp against teams with tight defences.

Away to the San Siro next Tuesday for the last game in the Group of Death.

We are at 5 wins out of 5, theoretically should be gunning for a 6th, which besides bringing in the cash (more than €2mil for a win), will also set a record.

But suspect that Klopp will rotate heavily, bringing in the likes of Tsimikas, Minamino, Milner, Ox, Origi, Konate and perhaps even Keita and Gomez.

Forgot that Milner is suspended for this trip. So that’s one less option to call upon.

Think we can all(?) agree that this game can field the reserves and youngsters, along with this that’s returning from injury.

Focus should be the home game versus in form Villa ( won 3 out of their last 4 )

I think the reason Liverpool are all about late goals

is because we never had the money to buy the best players

to just cruise to a win like Man City or Chelsea.

We always had to fight really hard for every goal and every victory.

This match may be geared towards who we prefer as second-place group qualifier, i think.
