Lets look at first half of May:

4 - Villareal (A) UCL SF

8 - Spurs (H) EPL

11/5 - Villa (A) EPL

14/5 - Chelsea ( Wembley) FA Cup final

UCL remains the most prestigious title within our control unlike EPL which is Man City's to lose. Klopp likely to put up strong line up maybe resting one or two key players for Spurs. The three speed demons: Mane-Diaz-Salah (MDS) will be unleashed to counter attack Villareal. If we score first, we can book players lodging for the finals. Thiago will probably start in midfield with Keita and Fabinho for maximum fire support.

Spurs remains the most difficult of the remaining league game. We need our most balanced midfield trio: Hendo, Thiago and Fabinho to isolate Kane and Son. Spurs will be King Maker.

Villa would be the least of the worry but with the distraction of FA Cup final looming and Coutinho very motivated to show what Klopp has missed, we must be careful not to drop any points. Will be interesting to see TAA vs Coutinho on our right flank.

one game at a time... even with this schedule, i believe we have the depth to play our strongest team for aall of the matches

With the win over Newcastle, Liverpool have set a new club record for wins in a single season. 42 in total, one better than 1985/86 and 2019/20. With a minimum of 7 games (hopefully 😎 more to go, looks like it can stretch further.

Am surprised that Diaz did not start this game... maybe save him for Spurs...

As expected, we field our more adventurous midfield combi of Keita - Thiago in front of Fabinho

In the first few seconds

why pass to Alisson

inviting the goal?

Stupid decision.

And the best thing about passing to Alisson

is wait and wait and wait

until the two attackers are on Alisson

and then pass to him.

So nowhere for Alisson to pass except

straight to an opposition player.

Ball come into the box and they score.

In the first few seconds of the game

kick the ball into the opposition box

instead inviting the attacker onto

Alisson and then when they get to him

pass to Alisson.

Keita success getting to his head

Shoot when 2 people were in better position

and shoot also off target.

Really wasted possession.

Pool always like to pass backwards and Vilarreal saw that as a weakness and press when Pool passing backwards.

Playing slow  and passing backwards all the time  finally got exposed.

Lets hope Villareal tires out... wonder why our midfield doesnt try to slow down the game... Keita and Thiago both not doing much
