Good football but Villa reminds me of Villareal... they will be tired in the second half...

I hope Fabinho will be fine but it looked like he pulled his left hamstring. Keita wasted one big chance by mis-timing his kick in the middle of the Villa box.

Whole midfield poor. No surprise Jones got subbed off. He is poor. Jota also suddenly lost form

Happy to get another 3 pts.

Could have scored another 1 or 2 goals.

Guess some of the players are saving their legs for FA cup final. Hendo and Thiago both quite subdued. Salah could have scored with his first attack.

A labored 1 - 2 win after going behind.

Looks like the long season is slowly catching up on us.

Hope Fab injury is not serious.

If villa can keep up their performance like this morning for their last match of the season we might have fairytale writing all over again!😁

By the way is Stevie still registered as a player? If so picture him coming on last minutes and cannon a free kick goal into city heart. 😁

positive for Pool was the 3 pts which keeps the slim hope of the title somewhat alive.

Negative is Fabinho's injury at this peak season of the run in and cup final games.  He is probably one of the 3 or 4 players which Klopp would not want to lose for any crunch games. Hope it is not too serious but unlikely he will be play in the FA cup final. Hopefully he will be back for the UCL final.

The win by a single goal did not help Pool's goal difference deficit to City. They are still top of the table having played 1 game less and a better goal difference of +3. They can literally afford to lose a game by a the odd goal and still win the title. So Stevie G needs not only a win but a coutinho's hatrick against City 😞

Need City to capitulate in one of the remaining matches.  😬

City will be at home against villa. Not likely for them to drop points there. Villa got nothing to play for then.

By this Saturday we should know the outcome of premier League title. City away to wolves and west ham. Both still fighting for a Europe spot.
