From "OH MY GOAL"...

——————

Sadio Mané: "Why would I want 10 Ferraris, 20 diamond watches, or two planes? What will these objects do for me and for the world? I was hungry, and I had to work in the field; I survived hard times, played football barefooted, I did not have an education and many other things, but today with what I earn thanks to football, I can help my people. I built schools, a stadium, we provide clothes, shoes, food for people who are in extreme poverty. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips and even planes. I prefer that my people receive a little of what life has given me." 🙏

———————

What a footballer...what a man...what a big heart...👍

Thanks Sadio Mane for the football with LFC. Wishing him the very best in his next venture and more 🙏

although it seems unlikely any further incoming, I do feel Pool's midfield may be a bit thin to last through an entire season challenging for the various titles. The main 4 starting CMs would be Fabinho, Hendro, Thiago and Keita. The backup squad players are Milner, Jones, Ox, Elliott and Carvalho.   The last 2 players are more no. 10 so they are unlikely to play in most EPL games.  Anytime any of the first 4 names are injured, we will tap on this pool of backup players which I do not feel exactly adequate for  a long season. Situation may be worsened with the WC commitment this coming Dec.

Takumi Minamino has today completed a move to AS Monaco after a two-year stay at Anfield.

All the best Taki…..

Think we seriously need to bring someone else in. We “lost” Mane, Origi and Taki and gain Nunez.
In terms of absolute numbers, that’s 2 down. Though some will argue that have to include Diaz as well.

Haiz.. Taki was the reason why Liverpool had 2 trophies this season. If it is not for him scoring all the crucial goals in both cups, Pool may just end up with all hype but no trophies.

He is going to be missed.

Jürgen Klopp: Taki is a reason we had to change the Champions Wall so often

Jürgen Klopp views Takumi Minamino's quality and attitude as a big reason for Liverpool's success in recent years.

The Japan forward today completed a permanent switch to Ligue 1 side AS Monaco after two-and-a-half seasons and 55 appearances as a Red.

Minamino arrived at Anfield from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020 and made 14 appearances during his first campaign as he claimed a Premier League winner’s medal.

He was the club’s top scorer in the Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup during 2021-22 to help Klopp’s side deliver a domestic double.
Reacting to the news of Minamino’s switch to Monaco, Klopp told Liverpool fc. com: “It’s hard to see Taki go, but it’s a great move for him and one he thoroughly deserves.

“An amazing professional; super, talented player. As a person, he is full of warmth and makes everyone feel positive. A manager’s dream, to be honest.

“I’m sure there will be those who think it didn’t quite work out. Those who think this are wrong. I don’t accept that.

“His contribution far outweighs the opportunities we were able to give, in terms of starting matches. He made us better each and every day he was with us – not just in the games he played in but every single session in training. Perfect attitude, winner’s mentality.

“His performances and his goals are the reason we have had to redecorate the Champions Wall so often. His achievements here will stand the test of time.

“I know he will be a big success at Monaco. I’m sure we will look on with a mix of celebration and envy as he progresses and flourishes there.

“He leaves with our appreciation and best wishes. Thank you, Taki.”

it is at least with some comfort to see players like Mane and Taki leave on a friendly mood.  This shows the togetherness of the squad and actually, the decision to leave are likely more personal than the quality of the squad and the competitiveness.

In contrast, just look at Paul Progba....

A message to LFC fans from Takumi Minamino

Dearest LFC supporters

I was so happy when I joined the LFC family 2 and a half years ago but my time has come to an end.

I had a fantastic time and I will never forget the massive support I received from you all at Anfield

I wish you all the best.

Sayonara, good bye.

Pogba is my hero.

Left for free and Utd paid 93m to bring him back.

He didn't do anything and left for free again.

:D

93m!  Nunez is only 74m

Almost as good as Lukaku

Paid almost 100m to get Lukaku back

and now he has left for Inter on loan.

Inter must love Lukaku as much as he loves them!

he made 100m profit for Inter.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Stanley Ho, the Macau casino tycoon. He was a legendary figure in the world of gambling, and his contributions to the industry cannot be overstated. His impact on Macau, in particular, is immeasurable. It's interesting to note that while Ho was often associated with high-stakes gambling and luxurious casinos, he was also a philanthropist and a patron of the arts. He supported numerous charitable causes, including education and healthcare, and was a keen collector of Chinese art and antiquities. Speaking of gambling, I have to say that I'm also a fan of the industry, and I often enjoy placing bets on sports and other events. That's why I've recently started using the website mostbet-ar.net, which is a great platform for sports betting and online casino games. The website offers a wide range of options and has a user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to navigate and place bets. Overall, while we mourn the loss of Stanley Ho, we can also celebrate his legacy and the many ways in which he has influenced the world of gambling and beyond. And for those of us who enjoy gambling, we can continue to do so responsibly and safely through platforms like https://mostbet-ar.net/.

Thanks Bro.
