If Stevie G wants to be Pool manager

he knows what he needs to do.

:D

Goal difference tomorrow and win on the last day at all cost.

Coutinho getting the winner.

Its all down to Aston Villa and Wolves.

A Villa has Stevie at the from and Wolves has Conner Coady at the back both Pool supporters.

We need Villa to lose tomorrow and win on the last day of the season and Wolves to win in the next match and lose on the last game of the season.

:D

That will be some story.

of all the trophies on the challenge, it is also a given that the EPL title remains the most coveted. given a choice, I will gladly swap the 3 titles (assumption) for the single EPL title.

The reality is that City now has 2 hands on the EPL title and about to lift it.  this EPL title is bread and butter for it and they know how to ride the pressures, since they have won it so many times in the past seasons.  hence, guess it is up to Klopp to decide how pragmatic he wants to play out the last 3 games. I believe the 2nd place for Pool is also confirmed as Chelsea in unable to catch Pool.

But winning the UCL will bring Pool to another 2 more Cups...... [smash]

1) European Cup Winner Cups (opening of UCL season - UCL winner vs Europa Cup winner)

2) Clubs World Cup  (Liverpool won once in 2019)

and one domestic cup

3) Charity Shield (opening of EPL season)

Klopp just want to fill up the display cabinet. .... :secret-laugh:

Always remember Pool never do things the easy way.

:D

The quad will be just like the treble.

FA Cup Arsenal winning and Owen pops up with 2 late goals.

UEFA Cup Pool wins 5-4 with a late goal.

Mathematically the league title was never in Pools hands anyway, the draw does not matter.

Even without the draw, we are still hoping for MC to have a slip up via a draw or loss.

Game on! Still going for the quad, YNWA 😁❤️

You are spot on.

It was never in our hands to begin with so it make no different we are still chasing and pushing city despite the draw.

Still regret that game where lost to Leicester!!!!! After dominating … damn it!!!

There are 5 top leagues (Spain, UK, Italy, German, France) where 5 teams winning it every year.

But there is only one winner in the champion league every year.

See the narrative. Hope it would make you feel better. 😁

it's not just Man City winning the EPL title again, but them establishing a dynasty... 4 titles in 5 years

going down in Premier League history as the only 2nd club to do it

But I still consider it as "brought success" with oil money ..... :slow:

Latest new is that Haaland passed his medical test and joining ManC at $213 millions pound.

One Haaland cash can buy Wolves & Watford Football clubs.  :wut:

If Pool does not win the title this season, guess it was always down to some wasted opportunities earlier on in the season whereby they could kill off some games. Brighton and Brentford comes to mind.   At the end of a 38 -game season, the most worthy team will win the league so whoever does it, it should always be fair game. Pool is just a tat lower in consistency compared to City if all things stand as it is.

With Erling Harland coming to City, it may make a title challenge a bit harder paper.  Whether he can play to City's strengths and not disrupt the fragile harmony in City's dressing room, that remains to be seen.  Paying a 21 year-old about 0.5M/pd a week is crazy and I wont be surprised that it may cause much unrest in the squad pretty soon.  Pep doesnt play with a no.9 cos that is the way he sets up the team to be fluid and mobile.  Memories of Kun Aguero playing a significant role for City was a quite few seasons back so it will be an interesting development whether Pep's team will improve or even go backwards.  Harland has not played in a demanding league such as the EPL so let's see whether he can adapt.

For Pool, regardless how many trophies it will take home by end of this month, Klopp will probably do a longer term refresh of the squad, likely with some young players added. The front 3 will likely see 1 or 2 departures as Klopp rejig for the next 4 years of title challenges while continuing to strengthen the squad depth.
