2 dose of mRNA is considered fully vaccinated.

Sinovac requires 3 shots to be considered fully vax.

The problem will be for ppl who had 2 shots of Sinovac

So that means there'll be great big rush and queue for sinovac shots again.

Maybe the supply will be better with lots of POOR countries don’t want it.

Part of the "endemic" plan. It's one big covid party in the workplaces. BUT they ensured that everyone will be "boosted" by then, through these new requirements. That's what they want to happen all along..... want to make sure that you catch covid, with minimal risk of dying.

Are we ready for this huge risk? Hospital ready?

Spread of COVID-19 occurs via airborne particles and droplets. People who are infected with COVID can release particles and droplets of respiratory fluids that contain the SARS CoV-2 virus into the air when they exhale (e.g., quiet breathing, speaking, singing, exercise, coughing, sneezing). The droplets or aerosol particles vary across a wide range of sizes – from visible to microscopic. Once infectious droplets and particles are exhaled, they move outward from the person (the source). These droplets carry the virus and transmit infection. Indoors, the very fine droplets and particles will continue to spread through the air in the room or space and can accumulate.

Yeah , full of question marks again.

I have PRC colleague who took sinopharm, 2 doses. Would they be considered fully-vaccinated after 31st Dec? Or only last for 4 months as per sinovac?

For those who took 2 shots of sinovac and do not go for a 3rd, what happens after 31st Dec? They lose the fully-vacc status?

And then what happens to those of us who took 2 shots of mRNA and sitting on the fence as far as booster is concerned ..... what next?

Same rules apply to Sinopharm

For those who took 2 shots of Sinovac, fully vaxx status only last for 4 months after 2nd dose or until 31 Dec 2021, whichever is later.

Both answers can be found here under item 16  https://www.moh.gov.sg/news-highlights/details/preparing-for-safe-resumption-of-activities-by-building-strong-foundations-in-stabilisation-phase

It mentioned three doses of the Sinovac vaccine will be required for a person to be considered fully vaccinated? So those who already took 2 doses of Sinovac needs to take 1 more dose to consider fully vaccinated? Dont know if they also would implement for people who took mRNA also requires to take booster then consider fully vaccinated next year? Lol.

So no more WFH from Jan 1 finally?! 😅

If you want to go office, must be vaccinated..... Doesn't say MUST go back to the office.

Up to both government guideline, and company policy, only.

It will be a big risk to take for any organisations and companies, as one person can spread to others easily, leading to a temporary shut down for 2 weeks if all got infected.

If force everyone to go back to office full time could cause another sharp spike in Singapore's COVID-19 cases.

Like they always say, live with covid and they also always have full confidence on vaccination. So now only fully vaccinated can go back office, means safe for people in workplace? 😅

So indirectly another way to achieve near 100% vaccination rate by imposing new rule if working people cannot go back workplace if they are not vaccinated?!

I would not be surprised if they will also impose rule for people who took mRNA vaccine to go for booster shot, if they want to be consider fully vaccinated? Since they still think vaccination can become superman?!

No need to rush since sinovac already under the vaccination program, stock should be sufficient.

In the psychological sense, denial is a defense mechanism in which a person, faced with a painful fact, rejects the reality of that fact. They will insist that the fact is not true despite what may be overwhelming and irrefutable evidence.

Delta 'Plus' Covid variant may be more transmissible https://www.bbc.com/news/health-59009293 They need to be prepared.

Yep, he said ours is 50 deaths per million while he quoted another country which I can’t remembered is 2000 deaths per million. So still considered ‘low’.
