Kb27 Supersonic August 14, 2021 Share August 14, 2021 (edited) At this time, laws should be passed to punish intentional and malicious spreading of fake COVID news. Let's make an example of Eileen Loh. Edited August 14, 2021 by Kb27

Kb27 Supersonic August 14, 2021 Share August 14, 2021 https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/facebook-post-3-year-old-die-covid-19-kkh-fabrication-moh-2112766 Facebook post about 3-year-old who died from COVID-19 at KKH ‘a total fabrication’: MOH SINGAPORE: A Facebook post claiming that a three-year-old had died from COVID-19 at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital is “a total fabrication”, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Saturday (Aug 14). “The Ministry of Health would like to call out a Facebook post circulating online that a three-year-old preschooler has died from COVID-19 at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), and that this death was deliberately not reported,” the ministry said in a Facebook post. “This is completely untrue and a total fabrication. As of Aug 14, there has been no child who has died from COVID-19 at KKH.” MOH's statement comes after a post was made by a Facebook user claiming that a three-year-old had died from COVID-19 at KKH. The post had been shared close to 200 times as of Saturday evening. "We urge the public to refrain from spreading rumours and misinformation," MOH said. As of Friday, seven people have died from COVID-19 in Singapore this month. They were aged between 34 and 84 years old, according to information from MOH's daily updates. MOH did not confirmed if there was a child death BUT claimed no child had died from COVID-19. It has two different interpretations. MOH should have claimed either 1. there was no child death or 2. there was a child death but was not from COVID-19. The question in most people's mind would be there was a child death BUT MOH said it is not from COVID-19.

Zxcvb Turbocharged August 14, 2021 Share August 14, 2021 There are ppl dying everyday. MOH should list the causes of death on a daily basis to debunk all these fake news.
Volvobrick Supersonic August 14, 2021 Share August 14, 2021 Don't think there is any reason for MOH to hid Covid deaths now, whether adults or kids, when it wants people go for vaccination. If there is indeed a death, we should leave the family alone in their grieve and not exploit it to gain eyeballs.
Fitz4i 2nd Gear August 14, 2021 Share August 14, 2021 The child that passed is an 8 year old and not 3 year old. Not a pap supporter but this is obviously trying to politicise a death using a child's photo grabbed off the internet. Rip to the little girl. So many people die everyday must all pin to COVID-19?
Fitz4i 2nd Gear August 14, 2021 Share August 14, 2021 MOH should come out to clarify further on the death of the 8 year old if not people are goin to continue to fan it. This is serious and the person behind the Eileen loh fake account should be held accountable
