today 2 of the big team meet. chelsea vs man c.

its a great chance for man u and pools to pull away.

this type of game is a must win . and man u fail to take advantage.

i think if ole dun win anything this season, thats it for him..,....

Totally agree, apart from Arsenal's Arteta, many die-hard fans (including me from 2 seasons ago) have stated that Ole is not the one for MU. There's Antonio Conte who is still available and he's proven and anytime better - tactically and technically. Not the emo type of every player being 'a good human being' but just expecting a good player on the field to justify their existence and high wages.

Give ole sometimes. Don't be trigger happy.

I recommend to extent his contract. Current contract too short for any  implementation or foresight for long term planning.

Don't blame kloop for no penalty awarded to United will do. 😁

I say again, Ole must go. It's very depressing watching MU game nowadays.

People say that Van gaal, Jose, David were at the helm too

No magic pill

But do agree he still needs to learn tactics wise and be more gung ho

On paper, his team looks the best they ever have for last 7 years

Last season was the best opportunity to win the EPL when MU was top of the table,  yet he squandered it. He is tactically clueless.

ManU 0 - AVL 1 - (EPL - Home)

The usual first eleven, with Pogba on the left in place of Sancho and both McFred in midfield were slightly better in terms of pushing forward but at the expense of the injured Luke Shaw being replaced by Dalot in the 34th minute. A goaless first half with Aston Villa having more of the better chances.

Another replacement for the defence for Maguire with Lindelof and later McTominay for Cavani in the 80th minute and it was Aston Villa who scored the all-important goal off a corner in the 88th minute. A disappointing penalty miss by Fernandes in the final minutes, when he skied the ball into the stands made it another bad start for Ole in not getting the expected results in the new season, with his new signings.

Play 2 DM in home game yet cannot contain AV pressure and attack... Cr7 also got no service upfront. Wtf tactically is that...

 ManU 2 (Telles / Ronaldo) - Villarreal 1 (Champions League - Home)

With Maguire and Luke Shaw injured, it was Bruno as Captain and Sancho and Greenwood flanking Ronaldo. The back four comprised Telles, Varane, Lindelof and Dalot while the middle had McPogba. The main thrust was led by Sancho from the right, with Villarreal having more of the penetrative runs from the left, capitalising on Dalot's difficulty in containing their attacks but De Gea was up to the task in making several good saves to keep it 0-0 at halftime.

It was Telles who equalized in the 60th minute after Villarreal scored and a dramatic finish when Ronaldo made it 2-1 at the end of the 5 minutes added-time, much to Ole's relief!

CR7 is probably best signing so far...

the shirts he sold and his goals so far have already recouped much of his transfer fee already

ManU 1 (Martial) - Eve 1(EPL - Home)

With Ronaldo on the bench, it was Cavani as CF flanked by Martial and Greenwood with Bruno and McFred in midfield. A good start with the high tempo and pressing as compared to previous games and even with Everton parking the bus, it succeeded at the 43rd minute when Martial scored off a pass from Bruno to put us in the lead till halftime.

Early subs for the injured Martial and Cavani for Sancho and Ronaldo in the 56th minute, and an attack on the break in the 65th minute gave Everton the equalizer after Fred gave the ball away and who was later replaced by Pogba. Both Fred and Lindelof were the slackers in this game and should give way to VDB and Matic in future matches. It was Everton who shared the spoils at MU's expense.

Euphoria of winning the league has slowly ebbed away now

May even struggle for top 4

Sancho should be on the right , Lingard on the left, or lingard on right with Pogba left, lingard is the form player and Van beek should have played instead of Fred

central midfield looks porous, so many teams just walked through without resistance

CR7 cannot perform magic without deliveries

McTominay needs a break. Matic was a better choice in yesterday's game.

Hopeless team.

The look of disgust as Ronaldo walked straight down to the dressing room after the match was telling. If tactics and starting line-up issues are not addressed, I foresee a problem brewing with him and Ole and with divided teammates that may cause Ole to lose the dressing room. Conte please!

While Greenwood prefers the right being a two-footed shooter (as he's scored a few goals from this position and after selling Dan James), with Sancho, Lingaard, Pogba as possible lefties, it will be exacerbate matters when Rashford returns as the favoured strikers are Ronaldo and Cavani. Agree that VBD would be better than Fred as he is easily bounced-around and Matic should ideally have the qualities of back-passer Fellaini to break-up any attack from the mid, especially with his trademark wild hair and flying elbows 🙂
