ManU 2 (Greenwood / Rashford) - Lei 4 (EPL - Away)

With Maguire back from injury and DDG in goal, it was again Ronaldo with Sancho and Greenwood on the flanks. A pass from Bruno to Greenwood, who curved the ball into the far right corner of the net made it 1-0 in the 18th minute, and Leicester equalized in the 32nd minute when Maguire, who was having a torrid time on the left, was robbed off the ball. The midfield comprising Pogba and Matic were not able to thwart Leicester's penetrative and high-pressure runs and while they had better chances, it remained 1-1 till halftime.

A better start to the 2nd half with more attacking flair, followed by Rashford coming on for Sancho in the 69th minute and who scored in the 78th minute but the lead was lost just after the re-start when Leicester scored and even with again late subs for Greenwood and Matic by Lingaard and Mctominay in the 84th minute, it was a disastrous showing for Ole. No clean sheets and upcoming tough games against Villareal, Liverpool and ManC, the board should be seriously looking at replacing Ole.

Comes out and support your team .....  :yuush:

Walk with them be it thick or thin, rain or shine, up or down ..... :we-all-gonna-die:

5 kosong is hard truth, good wake up, pool already merciful after halftime. If still cannot wake up, Manc will put 10 kosong without mercy. Unfortunately manager can't see the problem since past few games when opponents just run past the defence thru the midfield.

So many players too individualistic and taking unnecessary risk to give ball away in dangerous areas. They forget about how to play football leow..

Where are ManU fans ... :slow:

9 games played and only 4 pages .... :wut:

Left at half time I read…🤫

Either Ole has to go, legend or not…football world is cruel…ah Seng can relate to that…only if he had the money…

or rebuild the squad around cr7…but I think that’ll cause create more cons than pros…get a good DM to me is more important with enough attackers in the current squad.

ManU 3 (Ronaldo / Cavani / Rashford) - Spurs 0 (EPL - Away)

With DDG in goal and Varane back from injury, the midfield was again McFred with the two frontmen consisting Ronaldo and Cavani for this 'Pow-chiak' game which will keep Ole's continued tenure to 'Tharn-chiak' at the expense of Hotspur's Nuno. In the 38th minute, a nicely-weighted pass from Bruno found his Portuguese compatriot at the far-end right corner and Ronaldo slotted the ball into the net from a tight angle and it was 1-0 at halftime.

A goal by Ronaldo was ruled offside by VAR at the beginning of the second half but a move started by Bruno found Ronaldo, who played-in Cavani to make it 2-0 in the 65th minute. A sub with Rashford for Ronaldo, to be rested before the hurdle with Atalanta next Wednesday, followed by Lingaard for the injured Cavani gave extra fillip to our attack. It paid off when Rashford scored in the 87th minute, giving Ole a temporary reprieve (he still needs to go), and further relief as Liverpool drew and ManC lost their respective matches earlier with this very respectable score-line and a clean sheet to boot.

Although Man U won 3 nil vs Spurs, I think Ole still has to go. I admired him when he scored the 99 champions league final goal but he’s not good enough as a manager. Can we get someone more reputable??

ManU 0 - ManC 2 (EPL - Home)

Two goals down in the 1st half that boiled down to off-days by Bailly(og) and De Gea's ineptitude in not being able to grasp the ball sums up the mood of fans all over the world.

The sleek probing passes and possession of the ball by ManC players with their and the solid back-four deprived our players of the ball and consequently, nullifying any chances of attack to chase Ole's "blues' away.

Ole has been unable to put his inprint or brand on the ManU system of play as compared to the top managers / teams. Just going by each game, depending on the opponents perceived weaknesses is just fire-fighting with a "plug and play" temporary system, devoid of any methodology that can bring ManU to greater heights.

This will result in ManU being just a mid-table team until Ole is replaced, hopefully by Christmas!

Ole fielded 10 out of 11 players that started against pool this morning.

His trust in his players is non questionable.

Silly Liverpool
See Liverpool, this is the right way to beat United. You completely dominate the match while never getting out of 2nd gear. This way United aren’t embarrassed, and Ole gets to keep his job, everyone but Man U supporters wins.

actually i think man u lack quality in midfield.

fred is very hardworking, i think he chase the ball alot more then the rest.

but he got average ball skills , positioning and vision, he cannot play the ball out under pressure, or do linkup play or forward pass. Scott.m got better ball skills and str. but his vision very limited, not mobile enough and his range of passing very short also, cannot dribble the ball out under pressure.

even man c defenders got better ball skills then man u midfielders. pogba is the 1 that is world class. but ole cannot manage him. mata is forever overlook . bruno is good. but he dun chase the ball. cannot afford too many of these players.

if ole want play 3.4.3. i will put matic with mata in mid . put bruno and lingard on top .to support cr7 .

man u got too many striker. cannot keep playing alot of striker just because they happen to buy too many .

Yes, Fred will resort to being yellow-carded whenever he loses the ball and just like VDB who's also hardworking, but both lack the through-ball passes that Pogba can do to add depth and attack into the final third. The porous mid-link has always been a problem for Ole to plug for effectiveness when going forward or having a destroyer to thwart attacks that Matic (having similar height and build like Fellaini) does'nt seem to do well.

While good to have subs in every dept, Ole has to get rid of some redundant / surplus to requirement players to lower the wage bill and also avoid dissent to blood-in those deserving players and have a chance to be on the field.

Disappointing.

We need a DM and a few more good at the shithousery, the dark arts. Current all like a bit afraid to put themselves about and let the opponents roll on the ground  a little bit, like most other teams who play us. We playing for the team with the least yellow cards aware? -_-

Anyways, buy who also same. Buy bestest players in the world also same. Give Ole the RM Le Decima squad also will chui if he does not majorly upgrade his tactical nous, and keep putting unfit, off form, non-performing players into the team.

As much as i like him. his misplaced loyalty in some players and the system (is there one?) he plays does not showcase the strength of the players we have, and will not bring us anywhere. Bringing CR7 back just exacerbated the situation as he evidently does not know how to accommodate and play to his strengths, while needing to put him in the team and bring down the workrate of the team compared to last season.

You're right that Ole has to suck-thumb and accommodate the less-pacy CR7 for others to feed him in the box, same as Lukaku and Ibra in that they needed to be fed, but not good in tracking back and hence were sold (and both are still prolific scorers for their respective teams). Coupled to that, Greenwood has to feed CR7 if he's in a good position instead of being a lone-wolf.

We miss someone like Fellaini in the crunching tackles and flailing elbows but sold due to his back-passes, unlike Matic who can pass forward, has the same built but not a destroyer. Until the CDM issue is fixed, the main problem remains.

CR7 is still fast, but he conserves energy by not pressing and tracking back as most other forwards, like Cavani does with distinction. This allows opposition with ball playing CBs to pass easily to their CMs for further ball distribution.

Actually, i feel Greenwood has been taking on shots very often, sometimes when the better option is to pass to a better placed colleague. This will probably come with age and playing maturity.

IMO, Fellaini is perfect for a super sub 2nd forward for us now. Punt forward and he can bring down for CR7. This option we do not have right now.

Until we level up in the tactics department, problems will remain. Need remind our defenders to clear the farting balls too.
