many old folk given free milk powder or other stuff but choose to sell them in the street? or store them at home till expire?

it is not that they dun have the these nutrition but many dun want or resist of taking them, even they already have illness caused by lack of such nutrition.

Actually what about anti toxident pills?  No need to put in bottle.  But put in little plastic bags like those for tablets and just tell them to take one pill every morning.  It's supplement but prescribe to them like normal meds.

Without a bottle, I doubt they can sell them. If they are non compliant then erm if they don't wanna help themselves....

How do you identify a real expert? Someone who clearly has common sense as in the article.

How do you identify a charlatan? Someone who clearly parrots the govt's narrative to open up at all costs, jab everyone at all costs but leave the incoming foreigners alone (no need booster / quarantine for them)

Currently, Sinovac/Sinopharm requirement for VTL is the same as local.

The alignment will be coming soon.

Why pay $25 for man's vitamins when woman's ones are just $1.29?

Has anyone heard of Vitamin C just for man or woman?

It's all just marketing.

not sure if giving out supplements is really going to help. if we can't trust booster shot, why should we trust all these supplement.

if we go down this route, it does seem like only winners are the health supplement companies.

are we going to give out free supplement and give people option not to take them and throw them away? 🤣

or force them to take the supplements like a dictatorship regime? 🤣

Even without COVID, people are questioning supplements. Some say if you do not have a health issue or prescribed by doctor, then you don't need supplement.

You get them all from the food you eat.

Pfizer expects Omicron vaccine to be ready in March

NEW YORK — Pfizer expects a Covid-19 vaccine targeting the Omicron variant to be ready in March, the company's head said Monday (Jan 10).

Pfizer Chief Executive Officer Albert Bourla told CNBC that Pfizer is already manufacturing doses due to keen interest from governments, as authorities contend with huge Covid-19 infection counts, including large numbers of "breakthrough" Omicron cases in vaccinated populations.

"This vaccine will be ready in March," Dr Bourla told the network. "I don't know if we will need it. I don't know if and how it will be used."

What do people eat that has all the daily recommended intake of vitamins and mineral?

How do people even calculate how much vitamins and mineral in the food they eat everyday?

I would like to think people trust supplements more than vaccines.  Also supplements can be used in conjunction with vaccines and it is not an either or issue

Actually, you can just give the supplements to those at risk people and not for everyone.  Before COVID, many people question the need for supplements.  But they also question the need for many things.  With COVID, I would like to believe that the thinking has changed.  Like use of hand sanitisers, mask wearing etc. But obviously supplements that boost overall immunity or heart health.  Not those anti fat or diet pills.

You believe supplements can save more lives than vaccines (all types) or you think both are necessary? 😀

If you believe vaccines save lives, why are you so opposed to vaccination differentiated measures?

I can understand some here who think vaccines kill more people than the lives of all it have saved globally but you seemed confused.

Both are necessary.  It's like you have a heart disease.  You need medicines and maybe stents but you also need a healthy lifestyle.  You can't get better without both.  But if the focus is only on medical treatment and ignore the lifestyle and diet part, you will just keep getting sicker.

I don't see the confusion.  I do have concerns about the safety and efficacy of vaccines though overall i think it is beneficial in preventing serious illness.  I am against VDS because it seems unethical to play with livelihoods and it sets a precedent.

Because I don't merely look at VDS.  I look at implications.  Because the next thing might not be VDS.  But because we accept VDS, we might have to end up accepting other things.

I won't say what the other things here cos it goes beyond this topic but let me just say i am against VDS because of the implications of it and the precedent it might set.  Slippery slope argument if you will.

This one?  😂

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

But then we have already went down the slippery slope a long time ago as vaccinations against measles and diphtheria are compulsory for children under the Infectious Diseases Act.

So mandatory better than VDS?

I wonder how those frontline hospital workers feel about anti-vaxers..

Anecdotal and personal thoughts.  It varies.

Generally, we all hate anti vaxxers.  But please don't misinterprete and say we hate anti mRNA.

Some of my friends are allergic to mRNA but had issues getting non mRNA vaccines.  They did get it eventually but they paid out of their own pocket cos it was hard to get the letter.  So they sympathiser with some of the anti mRNA.

I am uncomfortable with some of the VDS.

Some cannot be bothered cos they are too busy.  Let's face it. Pre COVID everyone was struggling also.  Just that there is no focus on this.
