TLDR effect.😅

The same effect that jolted the insurance industry in early 2000 that made MOF regulate that Financial Advisers must go through certain disclaimer clearly and make insured sign off that they read the clause.🤣🤣🤣

That’s 1 thing I always ask when I buy insurance

not sure if anyone has shared this video , another bluesg accident. I have to say ...bluesg are the new PMDs.

"...bluesg are the new PMDs."

Because many BlueSg drivers drive those cars like toys, instead of a transportation tool.

In the end, may have to pay $10k to $16k insurance excess

No need Tesla! MG so powerful! Can consider buying if cheap cheap!

I guess this taxi driver no free vacation this time?

The biker was very lucky - he could have fused in between the 2 cars.

Either smth wrong with the driver or with the car's throttle pedal. The taxi looks like it's going at full throttle.

It does looks like the taxi is going at full throttle. Hopefully is not due to some electronic issues.

It works at very low speeds.

https://news.mgmotor.eu/mg-pilot-safety-features-how-do-they-work/

Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

At speeds below 20 km/h, the vehicle will automatically apply its brakes to avoid a collision with other road users. At speeds above 20 km/h, AEB will reduce the likelihood or severity of an accident.

The taxi doesnt look like it is travelling at speeds below 20km/hr. The part on speeds above 20km/hr looks like it didnt work.

Most drivers here don't unlearn and learn about new shinning ride.

This is especially so among Taxi Drivers.

Taxi Drivers still drive it like good old Toyota Crown Taxi.

This taxi driver is likely to lose money from insurance excess.

Because many BlueSg drivers drive those cars like toys, instead of a transportation tool.

The BlueSG driver should be thankful that he is in a position to pay the insurance excess for causing an accident. If the lorry was any taller, he won't even have a head left to be able to write the cheque to BlueSG. The e-car would have gone under the lorry and the tail-gate high impact into his face.

It is clearly stated that:

OD: $5k

TPL: $5k

Why do you suspect that insurer will become kind ppl?
