This time it's the Sun's fault. LTA neber install sunshade.

I admit that was a mistake on my end as I was kinda distracted after being mildly blinded by the morning sun and failed to see the lights had already turned red. Its not an excuse and I am expecting to be fined for my moment of lapse.

I think most of these driver hired by Green bus driving with their eyes closed. This morning I was turning on amber light and a few second later saw a Green bus it taking same turn. It was shifting to red when I almost finish my turn and 3-4 seconds later I see Green bus is turning in (saw face of driver in rare view mirror and he seems very calm, looks like he was very use to such stunts).

I saw a topic about accidents related to opening of car doors, but not sure if this kind of habit can be cultivated in SG.

Good luck teaching this to taxi/grab drivers.
Yesterday this taxi driver opened his door while I was approaching (not even coming out looking at sometime while door is opened) and it was 2 way single lane road. Imagine someone on other side and I have no choice but to break his door while applying brakes.

Experts say there's no loophole in motor insurance law.

I just hate drivers like this, passenger are simple pricks they will want you to drop them at their convenient and pick up them where they feel like it. But as a driver it should be their responsibility to make sure drop them at the place which don't screw others.
Coming back with kids from school and reaching zebra crossing, taxi driver park in middle on zebra crossing and passenger is taking sweet time to pay. Dropping at proper destination would have killed driver and break passenger legs to walk to his block.

Grad rider also another a**hole ......  :veryangry:

Knowing approaching any opening (be it into car parks or road junctions) they must also be responsible for their own safety by looking out for other road users.  :we-all-gonna-die:

It is worthless if you can't reach your destination peacefully. :lll._.:
