Oh. Never noticed it that much before. The Model 3 having flatter rear seats, should be less comfortable for passengers #hmmm

Rear bench on the Skoda looks good

😂 Once upon a time, I was sitting in a Skoda Octavia passenger seat with a friend. I keep hearing this water blobbing sound especially during braking and keep turning my head to find out what is it. When my friend noticed I keep turning my head, he commented the sound might be from the fuel tank.

😅 I keep telling my friend, of the many years I drive, I have never heard the sound of the fuel tank like this so closely although it can sound like the fuel is moving while braking. I say I find it more like at the back seat or the door.

As it is, when we manage to get out of the expressway and stop by somewhere, I open the door, bend down and remove a little rubbish like item at the bottom of the door and water start to flow out like a stream of urine for almost 2 mins. Then we know that the last 2 days of rain has caused the water to seep into the door panel and fill half of the door with water and due the the outlet blocked, it did not leak out. Haha, what a quality

Lol... I recall the same thing that happen to my previous ride :D

Looks good but can you swallow the price tag? 🤪 Full set of images available here

I think it's a harder pill to swallow now exacerbated not just by current COE prices but also in comparison to the previous RS 245's last selling price at just $141,900

But if I have 200K to spare, I'll get this over the $488K AE86 on our used car pages. Haha.

the clear stock 86k should be those red ones without sunroof and tartan seats that were diverted from the Malaysian market if i can recall.

FYI all types of car doors are built the same. I know cos I diy replace the front/rear speakers in all my cars. Rain water will seep thru the exterior bottom seam of all the windows and drain thru the small holes at the bottom of the door. If you have seen in movies how car thieves are able to slide a piece of metal strip down the window and pull up the lock to unlock the door? If a metal strip can get thru so does the rain water.

It is not totally sealed for the window but the door is two layers to seal the cabin. Once you remove the door trim and remove the speaker, peer thru the speaker well and you will see how the door is design to drain out the rain water. Sometimes the small holes does get clogged with debris. Open the door, look at the bottom of the door, use a branch or a toothpick and water low pressure (you dont want the water to get to your speakers) and just clean the holes.
